Coordination Meeting of the BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and BSEC PERMIS

On January 17, 2020, at the headquarters of the BSEC Organization Armenia’s Permanent Representative Sahak Sargsyan participated in the Coordination Meeting of the BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office (Romania), BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and BSEC PERMIS.

Ms. Antoaneta Barta, Director General for Bilateral Relations, Regional Cooperation and European Enlargement of the Foreign Ministry of Romania presented the priorities of the Romanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office highlighting its main objectives and sectoral priorities such as transport and connectivity, environment and green energy, SDGs and economic development and competitivity.

Congratulating Romania in assuming the Chairmanship Permanent Representative Sargsyan expressed Armenia’s full support to the priorities of the Romanian BSEC Chairmanship and all its undertakings to successfully advance the important agenda (including its reforms) of the Organization for the indicated period. He also presented Armenia’s suggestions and proposals regarding the calendar of events of the current Chairmanship-in-Office.
